I spent more than ten years coaching people. That was before I wrote a single line of code. Coaching, NLP, support work. A long time spent learning how people decide, what they avoid, and where the work quietly falls over.
So when I sit with a business owner, I am not listening for the tech. I am listening for the thing they keep saying sorry about. The follow-up that slips. The invoice that goes out wrong. The decision stuck in someone's head, because there was no time to write it down. Then I build around that. The code is the easy half. The hard part is seeing how the work really moves.
